1. Phoenix Film Festival reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules and regulations.
2. Phoenix Film Festival reserves the right to reclassify entries.
3. Phoenix Film Festival reserves the right to convert any submitted film from high definition to standard for viewing purposes.
4. Phoenix Film Festival reserves the right to use some of the footage within the film for future promotional videos of Phoenix.
5. Phoenix Film Festival reserves the right to edit the schedule of events at any given time.
6. The submitted media will not be returned, please provide a copy not the original version.
7. The decision of the judges is final and no disputes would be entertained.
8. Only one award will be given to each winning title, no duplicates will be made.
9. By entering a film into the Phoenix Film Festival you are giving your irrevocable consent to being filmed as part of the event for promotional purposes.
10. In extreme circumstances failure to comply with any of the above terms may result in your title being disqualified from the award ceremony and/or being removed from the festival.
11. Films produced, financed or initiated by a major film studio or television network are ineligible for competition, but may be considered for a special screening.
12. By submitting your video for this competition, you are certifying that it’s your own original work and that anyone who appears in it or whose work you have used in it are fully credited.
13. The films will be shortlisted on the basis of its audience appeal, any content that may not be comfortable for the audience will not be shortlisted.
